CBO Telephone Surveys
Telephone surveys with 10 community based organizations (CBOs) were used to help us gain an understanding of what preparedness planning CBOs had already done, what they needed to get prepared, and how we could help them keep their doors open to serve their clientele during an emergency event.
We used three key criteria for selecting the ten surveyed agencies:
1. Pre-existing relationship with Pubic Health
2. Geographic diversity
3. Diversity in type of services
Using your own criteria and the CBO Survey Tool, select a manageable number of agencies to talk to and establish a baseline understanding of partner capacity and needs.
